Flamenco is a traditional and living
contemporary art form that has long been
celebrated for its rich multi-cultural heritage.
For centuries, the Spanish provinces of
Andalusia have nurtured a magical blend of its
indigenous artistic traditions with those from
India, North Africa and Latin America. Diverse
cultural groups, including Gypsies and Jews,
Moslems and Christians, have made distinctive
contributions to the music, dance and song that
